“STILL ALICE” AUTHOR LISA GENOVA AT MILLENNIUM PLACE

Award-winning author of three New York Times bestselling novels, Lisa Genova began studying biopsychology and neuroscience in college. With dreams of becoming a novelist, her first book Still Alice was turned down and ignored by 100 literary agents. Now, the Harvard graduate has earned a reputation as a courageous, intrepid author and Still Alice’s silver screen debut began winning awards before it even hit theatres.

Last month, fresh off the heels of Golden Globe, SAG and Oscar Award wins (Julianne Moore, Best Actress), Lisa joined us in our first Fireside Chat of 2015, where she talked about her inspiration for exploring the complexities of the human brain and her whirlwind journey with Still Alice.
